Where can I find suggestions for day trips during my stay?

Whether it’s summer or winter – there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, skiing or day trips to Innsbruck in the area around Alp Living.

Is there a ski bus?

Yes. A free ski bus is available during the winter.

The nearest stops are:

at the SPAR supermarket, heading towards Axamer Lizum
at the Hotel Götznerhof, heading towards Muttereralm

This allows you to reach the ski resorts easily without needing your own car.

How do I get to Innsbruck by public transport?

The nearest bus stop is on Kirchstraße, near the SPAR supermarket, and is within easy walking distance.

From there, you can quickly reach Innsbruck and the surrounding towns. Timetables and tickets are available from the Tyrolean Transport Association (VVT) or directly from the ticket machines.

Where can I find a doctor?

There are several general practitioners available in Götzens and the surrounding areas.

Outside surgery hours, you can contact the out-of-hours medical service or Innsbruck Regional Hospital.

What are the emergency numbers in Austria?

Can I order food to be delivered straight to the flat?

Yes. If you’d prefer to have a relaxed breakfast in your apartment or enjoy the evening on your terrace, you can make use of our breakfast, bread roll or snack service.

In addition, various restaurants in the area deliver directly to Alp Living.

Where can I go shopping nearby?

There are several supermarkets just a few minutes’ walk from Alp Living:

Where can I withdraw money?

The nearest cash machine is located just 400 metres from Alp Living at Burgstraße 1 in Götzens.

Other banks and cash machines are within easy walking distance in the town centre.

Where can I find the nearest chemist’s?

There are two pharmacies near Alp Living:

Outside normal opening hours, you can find the emergency pharmacy currently on duty via the Austrian pharmacy emergency service.

Is there a safe in the flat?

Yes. Each apartment has a safe in which you can store your valuables securely.

You will find instructions for use next to the safe. Please note that we accept no liability for valuables kept in the apartment outside the safe.

How does the breakfast service work?

Start your day at a leisurely pace and have fresh bread rolls or a breakfast basket delivered straight to your apartment.

You can choose from a range of breakfast options. You’ll find all the information you need about ordering, delivery times and current prices on our services page.

What should I do in the event of a fire or if the fire alarm goes off?

Should a fire alarm be triggered, please leave the building immediately via the marked emergency exits and follow the instructions of the emergency services. Please do not contact us by telephone at this time, as the lines must remain free for the emergency services.

The safety of our guests is our top priority at all times.

Are the flats fitted with smoke alarms?

Yes. All apartments are fitted with smoke alarms and comply with the applicable safety standards.

Please note that the use of open flames and smoking are prohibited throughout the building. Should a false alarm be triggered as a result of improper behaviour – for example, burnt food or unauthorised smoking – and this necessitate the fire brigade’s intervention, the costs incurred will be charged to the person responsible.

Are there any user manuals for the appliances in the flat?

Yes. We’ll provide you with a user guide for all the appliances in your flat, which you’ll find on site. This will enable you to make use of all the features easily and hassle-free.

Can I hire skis or a sledge?

As there is no hire shop directly on site, we recommend Sport News in Axams (Innsbruckerstraße 53, 6094 Axams). You’re sure to find the right equipment there for your next outing.

Can I hire an e-bike or a bike?

If you’re not bringing your own bike, you can simply hire one from a bike hire shop. Possible places to go include:

Here you’ll find a selection of premium bikes for you and/or your family. It’s easy to book and reserve online.

Is there a bike storage room?

Yes. You can store your bikes free of charge in our bike room during your stay. There is also a bike service station available where you can carry out minor repairs and maintenance yourself.

Is there a ski storage room?

Yes. A free ski storage room is available for your skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing equipment. This means your equipment is safely stored and always to hand.

Can I get extra towels or bed linen?

Of course. Should you require any extra towels or fresh bed linen during your stay, we’ll be happy to provide them for you.

We charge €3 per item or set for additional linen.

Are there washing machines and tumble dryers?

Yes. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available for you to use in a communal laundry room during your stay.

It costs €3 per wash.

Is there a mid-term clean?

Yes. For stays of six nights or more, we offer an interim cleaning service on request.

Depending on the size of the apartment, the cost is:

€26 for smaller apartments
€39 for larger apartments

No, unfortunately this is not included in the stay.

Can I order drinks to be delivered straight to the flat?

Yes. We’d be happy to deliver a selection of drinks crates directly to your flat. You can choose from beer, juice or mixed drinks crates, amongst others.

Do you offer a shopping service?

Yes. We’d be happy to do your shopping for you before you arrive, so you can start your holiday feeling relaxed.

You can choose between:

The cost of the groceries purchased will be charged separately.

Can I book a snack service?

Yes. We’d be happy to put together a packed lunch for you, whether you’re going for a walk, a cycle ride or a day out in the Tyrolean mountains. That way, you’ll be well looked after whilst you’re out and about.

Is there a bread roll delivery service?

Yes. With our bread roll service, you can enjoy fresh bread rolls delivered straight to your apartment door every day.

We’re happy to take your order by 4.00 pm the day before. Your order will be conveniently delivered to your apartment the following morning.

Do you offer a breakfast service?

Yes. On request, we’ll treat you to a lovingly put-together breakfast basket, which we’ll deliver straight to your apartment. You can choose from a range of breakfast options – from a classic breakfast to a deluxe breakfast featuring regional specialities.

Please order your breakfast basket by 3.00 pm the day before. On Sundays and public holidays, please place your order by 3.00 pm on the previous working day.

Can I buy the Innsbruck Card from you?

No. We’d be happy to tell you about the Innsbruck Card, which allows you to explore numerous sights and attractions in and around Innsbruck.

The Innsbruck Card includes, amongst other things, admission to many attractions, a ride on the Nordkettenbahn cable car, use of all IVB public transport, and a ride on the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus in Innsbruck.

You can obtain the Innsbruck Card from Innsbruck Information at the Axams Tourist Office.

Will I receive a Welcome Card?

Yes. As a guest at Alp Living, you will receive the Welcome Card Innsbruck free of charge during your stay, provided that all guest details have been submitted in advance or on arrival.

You can look forward to a host of benefits in the region, including attractive discounts on leisure activities and – depending on the season – free use of selected public transport services.

The Welcome Card is the ideal companion for exploring Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains in an even more relaxed and varied way.

What services and extras does Alp Living offer?

To ensure your stay with us is as relaxing and flexible as possible, we offer a wide range of additional services. Some of these are already included, whilst others can be easily booked as optional extras.

Is travel cancellation insurance worth it?

Yes, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. Unforeseen events such as illness, an accident or other important reasons may mean that you have to cancel your trip at short notice.

With travel cancellation insurance, you are financially covered in the event of cancellation and can plan your stay with us with complete peace of mind.

What are the cancellation terms?

Should you be unable to take up your stay, the following cancellation terms apply in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of the Austrian Hotel Industry (AGBH):

Up to 90 days before arrival: 30% of the booking price
From 30 days before arrival: 60% of the booking price
From 3 days before arrival: 90% of the booking price

We always endeavour to keep cancellation charges as low as possible for you. Should we succeed in re-letting your booked apartment during the cancelled period, we will, of course, waive the corresponding cancellation charges.

Is there a swimming pool as well as the sauna?

No. Our wellness facilities include an on-site sauna, which is available to all guests during their stay. Alp Living does not have a swimming pool or water park.

Instead, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our hotel and its proximity to the Tyrolean mountains – ideal for relaxing in the sauna after an active day of hiking, cycling or skiing.

Is the sauna private or is it shared?

Our sauna is a communal wellness area and is available to all guests staying at the hotel.

When is the sauna open?

Our sauna is open daily from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Should the opening hours change depending on the season, we will let you know on site or in your guest information pack.

Do I need to book the sauna?

No. Our sauna is available to all hotel guests during opening hours. No booking is required.

Where is the sauna?

Our sauna is centrally located within the building and is easily accessible to all guests. It is a communal wellness area and is available to guests regardless of which apartment they have booked.

Do I need to bring my own towels for the sauna?

No.

Towels are already provided for you and can be used several times during your stay.

We would ask you to use them in a sustainable and resource-efficient manner.

Is there a sauna?

Yes. Our on-site sauna is available free of charge to all guests during their stay. It is centrally located within the building and is a communal wellness area – regardless of which apartment you have booked.

After an active day in the Tyrolean mountains, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. We’ll of course provide you with towels. We simply ask that you use them sparingly and reuse them several times during your stay. This service is free of charge until further notice.

Are the apartments suitable for families?

Yes.

Many of our flats offer plenty of space for families. You can also make use of our large garden and the numerous leisure activities available in the surrounding area.

Are there cots or high chairs?

Yes.

We’d be happy to provide a cot and/or a high chair on request.

We charge a one-off fee of 15 euros per stay for this.

What rest periods apply?

We ask that you be considerate of your fellow guests, particularly during the statutory quiet hours. As a general rule, quiet hours are from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am. During this time, please avoid loud conversations, music or other noises that might disturb other guests.

By showing consideration for one another, we can all help to ensure that everyone enjoys a relaxing stay with us.

Is smoking allowed in the flat?

No.

All apartments are non-smoking.

Please use only the designated outdoor areas.

Are pets allowed?

Yes.

Pets are welcome, subject to prior request.

The charge is 15 euros per pet per night.

Are extra beds set up automatically?

No.

Additional sleeping arrangements will only be made in accordance with the number of people specified at the time of booking.

Please therefore ensure you state the correct number of all travelling companions when making your booking.

How many people can stay in the flat?

Depending on the size of the apartment, our apartments can accommodate between two and six people.

You will find the maximum occupancy in the description of the apartment you have booked.

Is there a fully equipped kitchen?

Yes.

All apartments have a modern, fully equipped kitchen, so you can easily cater for yourself during your stay.

Are bed linen and towels included?

Yes.

On arrival, bed linen, hand towels and bath towels will already be laid out for you.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

This means you can work, stream or stay in touch with family and friends at your convenience at any time.

How do I leave the underground car park?

You will find brief instructions on the information board in the garage.

Open the gate at the exit by pulling on the red and white chain on the exit gate.

How many parking spaces are available to me?

For every apartment you book, a free parking space is available in our underground car park. This means you can park your car conveniently and securely throughout your stay.

The maximum height for vehicles entering the car park is 2.10 metres.

Is there a charging point for electric cars?

Yes. Alp Living has an electric charging point which you can use during your stay.

Is there anywhere to park?

Yes. During your stay, you will have access to a free underground parking space.

The maximum height for vehicles entering the car park is 2.10 metres.

What do I need to bear in mind when checking out?

Please vacate the flat by 10.00 am at the latest and ensure you take your personal belongings with you.

You will receive further information along with your arrival documents.

Can I check out later?

Late check-out is available on request.

Depending on occupancy and availability, we are happy to offer you a later check-out for a fee.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 10.00.

This leaves plenty of time to prepare the flat for the next guests.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer a luggage storage service. We therefore recommend that you plan your arrival and departure accordingly.

Is there someone at reception?

As we offer a flexible 24/7 self-check-in service, we do not have a permanently staffed reception desk. This means you can start your stay whenever you like, regardless of fixed arrival times.

Are there fixed reception opening hours?

No. At Alp Living, we use a modern 24/7 self-check-in system. This means you can arrive whenever suits you – without being restricted by fixed reception opening hours and without any waiting times.

How does self-check-in work?
